Killiney Barbers Limited t/a Leslie Quigley Beauty (Registered in Ireland No. 680141; Registered Office: 2B Killiney Shopping Centre, Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96 A528) (hereafter referred to as "Leslie Quigley Beauty", "we", "us", or "our") acts as the Data Controller for your personal information. We operate from our salon at Inside Trevor Francis Hairdressing, The Spawell Complex, Tallaght Road, Dublin 6W, D6W V992. We process all data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (Ireland).

- Communications: Records of booking-related emails and WhatsApp messages, including timestamps and metadata stored within our systems.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Contractual Necessity: To manage and fulfil your appointment requests.
- Legitimate Interests: To send essential service updates (e.g., reminders) and maintain system security.
- Legal Obligation: To comply with insurance terms and statutory record-keeping or regulatory requirements (especially around chemical treatment tests).
- Consent: Explicit consent will be sought separately for any marketing communications.
4. Third-Party Messaging (Email & WhatsApp)
We use our booking systems and messaging platforms to deliver booking confirmations and reminders.
WhatsApp: Messages are delivered via WhatsApp’s infrastructure. WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc. may process data under their own privacy terms in addition to our internal management of your booking.
5. Data Retention
Standard booking data and communication logs are automatically deleted 30 days after your appointment, unless a longer period is required for medical/insurance records (e.g., patch tests which are retained for longer periods to meet insurance compliance) or legal compliance.
6. Data Sharing & Security
We do not sell your personal data. Access is strictly limited to authorised staff and service providers (processors) necessary for business operations. We employ HTTPS encryption and robust technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at www.dataprotection.ie. - No Advertising: This page does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Essential Storage: Local storage may be used to maintain your booking progress.
- Security: Turnstile or other bot-prevention services may be used to prevent abuse; this may involve security-related cookies on the provider's domain.
